The most important thing about any Church is what it believes. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is the only rule of faith and practice. What we believe the Bible teaches is summarised in the Westminster Confession of Faith (which is the subordinate standard of our Church) and explained by way of Question and answer in the Westminster larger and shorter catechisms. These documents were produced by the Westminster Assembly (1643-48).
